Article 1. Purpose

These Terms set the conditions for using Korean Madang, and the rights, duties and responsibilities of Korean Madang and its members.

Article 2. Definitions

1. “Service” means Korean Madang’s online Korean-learning content and TOPIK/EPS practice. E-book sales and scheduled tutoring apply only if launched; in-person classes in Korea and printed-book delivery are not provided.
2. “Member” is a user who accepts these Terms and creates an account; a “visitor” uses public services without registration.
3. “Content” includes questions, passages, audio, images, explanations, translations, learning materials and interface elements.
4. “Learning records” include answers, completion status, review and records generated through use.

Article 3. Posting and effect

These Terms are posted for easy access. Where consent is collected during registration, a link is provided. Material matters are explained separately. Matters not covered are governed by applicable law and customary practice.

Article 4. Changes

We may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Changes are generally announced at least seven days before taking effect; material changes adverse to members are generally announced at least 30 days in advance, with separate consent where required. Article 5. Membership and contract

The service contract begins when the user submits required information, accepts these Terms and Korean Madang approves registration. Registration may be refused or verified for false information, identity misuse or risk to service operations. Sign-in uses Google OAuth or email one-time codes; learners do not create a separate password. VentraConnect passes Google-authorized account identifiers and basic profile data; email OTP processes the entered address and verification result.

Article 6. Users under 14

We do not actively offer registration to children under 14. If the service expands to them, we will establish required guardian-consent procedures.

Article 7. Account management

Members must keep account information accurate, must not transfer, lend or share accounts or authentication methods, and must promptly report suspected unauthorized use. We may request identity checks or temporarily restrict access for security.

Article 8. Services

Korean Madang provides online Korean-learning content and TOPIK/EPS practice for international learners. Original PDF e-books and scheduled online tutoring are provided only when sales or booking functions launch; terms will be shown before purchase or booking. No in-person classes in Korea or printed textbook delivery are offered. We do not guarantee exam results, employment, visas or specific learning outcomes.

Article 9. Free and paid services; withdrawal and refunds

Free learning is currently available; as of October 10, 2026, paid products and payment processing were still being prepared and sales had not begun. Before any paid service is sold, the product, price, payment method, content, access period, supply start, renewal status and cancellation/refund conditions will be clearly shown. Statutory withdrawal rights apply. Digital-content restrictions apply only when legal notice and trial-use requirements are met. Eligible refunds are processed within the statutory period, generally within three business days from the legally prescribed date, and payment cancellation is promptly requested. Access and download entitlements may end after a refund. No recurring subscription is currently offered.

Product delivery and refund evidence are assessed individually: exam access by the content actually supplied and its records; bundles by the component prices or reasonable allocation disclosed before payment; time-limited access by actual access and use; PDF/e-books by delivery and download records; tutoring by booked sessions and actual lessons. No fixed 10% deduction or undisclosed fee is applied. We do not deduct Toss Payments, PayPal or card processing fees from customer refunds. A statutory withdrawal is not subject to a penalty. Merchant-caused non-supply or material mismatch is handled under applicable law, including restoration or refund.

Article 10. Learning records and devices

Records vary by login and service. General study answers and progress are not stored on the server. For logged-in exams, answers, remaining time, results and assist-language preference may be stored and deleted after account closure or a deletion request, except for legally retained records. Cookie blocking or browser reset may remove local settings. See the Privacy Policy.

Article 11. User duties

Users must not misuse accounts or others’ information, exploit security weaknesses, send excessive automated requests, copy or sell content without permission, transmit malware, infringe rights, or violate law or public order.

Article 12. Intellectual property

Rights in Korean Madang-created content and interfaces belong to Korean Madang or their lawful owners. Users may study for personal, non-commercial purposes. Without written permission, users must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, repost or use content as another product, dataset or AI-training material. Rights reports: jbmoon650512@gmail.com.

Article 13. User submissions

If comments or uploads are introduced, users must hold necessary rights to their submissions. Illegal, infringing, malicious or disruptive material may be restricted. General comments and file uploads are not currently available; inquiries and rights reports are received by email.

Article 14. Changes and interruptions

We may change or temporarily suspend services for maintenance, outages, security incidents, communications failures, disasters or operational needs. Predictable interruptions are announced in advance where possible; urgent ones may be announced afterward.

Article 15. Restrictions and termination

Violations may lead to warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or termination proportionate to the issue. Unless there is an urgent security risk, we explain the reason and appeal method. Members may request closure by email; after identity verification we delete the account and stored exam records unless retention is legally required or a dispute is pending.

Article 16. Liability

Korean Madang is liable for harm caused intentionally or negligently as required by law. Liability for circumstances outside our control may be limited only as permitted by law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Learning content is supplementary and does not replace official decisions by agencies, exam bodies, employers or schools.

Article 17. Disputes and governing law

We will try to resolve disputes through discussion. Korean law applies, and venue follows applicable legal procedures.
